Your role at Samsonite:

The Senior Sustainability Analyst will work closely with the Global Head of Sustainability to support all aspects of Samsonite’s corporate sustainability program. This position will have a high potential for internal growth for someone with a passion for corporate sustainability/ESG and strong interest in working collaboratively with colleagues across a diverse global company. You will work on-site 4 days per week with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week.

  • Help manage projects with internal stakeholders and external consultants
  • Conduct research and benchmarking, track corporate sustainability trends, support the development of strategies and action plans
  • Manage and analyze ESG data
  • Develop presentations and written materials for internal and external audiences
  • Manage and develop content for the Global Sustainability SharePoint Site
  • Support internal employee green teams and the implementation of employee engagement and educational programs
  • Support climate and environmental projects, such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and waste reduction in our own and supplier facilities
  • Review and provide feedback on sustainability communication/marketing content developed by internal colleagues

Minimum Requirements:

  • Clearly demonstrated passion for sustainability and interest in working in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree (sustainability, business, environmental studies/science, operations management)
  • Curious and open minded; takes a learning mindset approach to work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; natural problem-solver
  • Adept at managing, analyzing, and summarizing quantitative data
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented, collaborative, and able to build rapport with colleagues
  • MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to travel (up to 20%, domestically and internationally)

Preferred Skills and Industry Experience:

  • Experience in one or more of: corporate sustainability; business consulting; energy/environmental management; marketing; ESG reporting; data management
  • Understanding of change management concepts and experience working across multiple business functions and levels of an organization
  • Foreign language proficiency and cross-cultural/international experience a plus
