Position Overview:
PURPOSE & OVERALL RELEVANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:
The Senior Manager Circular Services will be a key leader within the NAM Sustainability Team, responsible to develop and implement the creation of consumer facing Circular Services. This leadership role will be responsible to stand up a brand-new business within adidas. They will create & execute a plan that allows adidas to live our Sustainability efforts through this new Consumer GTM strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategy
- Lead and Manage the North American Sustainability Team responsible for setting up and developing Circular Services aligned with the Global Brand Strategy.
- Drive and Coordinate a team to operationalize consumer facing product takeback and re-commerce.
- Act as center of excellence to Circular Services across product management and marketing.
- Execute, monitor, and communicate the implementation of circular services between stakeholders across all levels.
- Lead and manage the ongoing metrics of project progression, monitoring inputs & outputs, and manage issues/risks to deliver against KPIs.
- Create and deliver innovative ideas that disrupt the industry and provide unique consumer experiences.
- Test and learn to ensure constant evolution of Circular Services.
Process Development
- Partner with digital, strategy, and marketing teams to deploy Circular Services.
- Lead, organize, and support objectives in alignment with seasonal brand and commercial strategy.
- Develop and Implement the Go-To-Market (GTM) processes for Circular Services.
- Develop compelling program rollouts with a strong focus on sustainability and innovation.
Project Management
- Develop seasonal plans in line with global strategy.
- Manage multiple workstreams across Circular Services.
- Lead, Manage, and coordinate all aspects of operating a new business plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Experience in setting up and executing new business models within an existing organization.
- Background in merchandising, product management, project management with additional sustainability experience preferred.
- Supply chain experience including reverse logistics.
- Passionate about Sustainability with a good understanding of Circular Economy principles.
- Experience in product merchandising and understanding of business KPIs.
- Innovation mindset and self-starting mentality.
- Proven track record of problem solving in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels.
REQUISITE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience in Product Merchandising, Project Management, Marketing, Business Development or similar.
- Strong Project Management skills.
- Cross functional experience, ideally within merchandising, marketing and sales.
- Curious mindset and ability to work across multiple teams.
