Apple is seeking an Energy and Sustainability Analyst to manage the documents and data critical to maintaining and expanding its energy and sustainability programs for Corporate Facilities. In this role, you will be a key contributor to Apple’s Global Energy and Sustainability Team and help Apple achieve its ambitious sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with renewable energy contracts, the management of large data sets, and the reporting of environmental metrics.

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of job experience in a related field: contract management, paralegal work, energy procurement, project administration, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Ability to navigate, edit, synthesize, update, and organize large datasets
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills and ability to collaborate seamlessly with diverse colleagues in an unstructured environment
  • Focused, self-motivated, well organized
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail

Description

The Energy and Sustainability Analyst will track, organize, and visualize financial and environmental metrics related to Apple’s renewable energy portfolio, as it grows to meet our 2030 carbon neutrality goals.

  • Maintain documents and data related to Apple’s renewable energy portfolio.
  • Track Apple and Vendor compliance with key milestones, deliverables, and documentation in Apple’s internal contract management systems.
  • On-board and manage new Apple renewable energy vendors.
  • Review and validate invoicing and payments, as well as Renewable Energy Credit (REC) receipt and retirement.
  • Support sustainability reporting related to Apple’s facility energy usage and renewable energy production.

The role requires strong organizational skills, the management of several tasks at once, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse group of colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Play a crucial role in a team working to achieve carbon neutrality at Apple!

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree in relevant field

Additional Requirements

  • Experience extracting, conveying, and understanding information from contracts, preferably energy related contracts.
  • Work experience with an electric utility, energy supplier, project developer, or other energy-related company
  • Experience compiling and analyzing energy related data
  • Understanding of corporate renewable energy procurement
  • Understanding of relational database principals and data structures
  • Proficiency in Tableau or similar data visualization software
