Description
Arconic is currently in search of ESG Analyst to join our Corporate Sustainabilty and ESG Team in Pittsburgh, PA.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Responsibilities
Analyze, outline and make sound recommendations for advancing Arconic’s sustainability and ESG performance, disclosure, ratings, and communications.
Inform Sustainability and ESG working groups about standard developments (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
Research and inform Arconic’s cross-functional working groups about evolving issues, regulations and protocols such as recycling and circular economy, value chain decarbonization and carbon accounting.
Benchmark and prepare reports on competitor, customer, market and industry ES&G activities, disclosures and trends.
Support value-add sustainable development efforts including life cycle analysis and product carbon footprint modeling.
Support corporate communications and marketing functions with current, relevant and engaging materials, including presentations and website content (ESG Hub).
Identify events and potential recognition opportunities for Arconic. Work with appropriate functions to prepare registrations and applications.
Key Objectives
Integrate targets into Arconic’s business models, with timely annual disclosures and progress toward our 2030 roadmap (UNSDGs, KPIs, metrics).
Manage environmental data collection, data system integration/management, key metrics
ISO 14001 and 50001 (Energy management) support to advance energy reductions
Develop and provide training on specific ESG risks/opportunities for various levels of Arconic professionals.
Support commercial operations with customer sustainability questionnaires/requests to ensure accurate, vetted and timely responses. Synthesize detail and socialize technical information.
Manage a standardized global process for advancing Arconic’s supply chain sustainability assessment program (EcoVadis).
Develop a Human Rights Management System/Due Diligence (operations and supply chain) and strengthen our commitment to UNGC.
Prepare ESG disclosures (data/information collection/verification across various Arconic functions), E.g. CDP, ISS, UNGC, SASB, ASI, UNSDGs, TCFD, EcoVadis.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
3 years’ minimum experience in a similar role
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of Hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S> person as a U.S> citizen, U.S> Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in manufacturing or metals industry
Experience with external analytical tools and, information systems (e.g., investor, environmental, marketing) and Disclosure Frameworks (CDP, SASB, GRI, TCFD)
Ability to research private and public domains
Excellent quantitative and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail
The individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work against strict and competing deadlines that are dictated by internal and external stakeholders
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, Power Point, with the ability to manage, interpret, and report on highly fragmented, often voluminous data.
