The Manager of Sustainability Offerings will be responsible to establish and lead a cross-functional AVEVA team that drives our company to serve our partners, customers and the industries in which we work to have the software and technology to continuously improve sustainable outcomes.

Manager of Sustainability Offerings – US Home

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sustainability inventory by Business Unit of capabilities, drivers, customer use cases, standards, as well as Industry perspectives.
  • Develop and manage the sustainability business plan for external activation ensuring buy-in from stakeholders. Work closely with the product management and strategy teams to provide research and analysis on sustainability and work with them to develop ideas and build business cases for new products as well as enhancement of existing products.
  • Work with Marketing to develop customer collateral and communications to promote our sustainability focus and achievements as an organisation and with our products.
  • Lead project teams to develop and implement sustainability intiatives.
  • Build effective partnerships with external organizations to support sustainability goals.
  • Measure and monitor progress against the external activation business plan and performance targets. Provide reporting to Director of Sustainability.
  • Provide input and support to the internal Executive Sustainability Steering Committee.
  • Prepare Sales teams to speak on sustainability with their customers.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience of successfully creating and delivering an external offerings sustainability vision and business plan in one or more of the following:

  • high tech/software companies
  • companies in industries supported by AVEVA, eg CPG, Food & Bev, Infrastructure, Energy
  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Environmental Studies. MBA is a plus.
  • Matrix management experience with proven success of leading project teams and managing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Portfolio/Product management leadership experience and proven ability to initiate and support the development of products in line with sustainability goals.
  • Experience and success in environmental sustainability issues with proven outcomes.
  • Expertise in policies, standards, governing bodies across technology and marketing.
  • Proven track record of translating ideas into actions.
  • Confident with building and promoting new initiatives.
  • Clear and engaging communication and presenting style.
  • Ability to build rapport and robust relationships as well as influencing at all levels including C-suite, customers, suppliers and partners.
  • Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
