As an ESG Advisor you will:
- Maintain and grow subject matter expertise in general ESG issues and trends through individual research and attendance at key events.
- Monitor, assess, and analyze ESG topics in order to understand potential impacts to and opportunities for Chevron and our sector.
- Support the GM of ESG Engagement in reporting on progress toward ESG goals and engagements.
- Help design data visualizations, progress dashboards and ad hoc analysis for variety of internal and external audiences regarding Sustainability issues.
- Support development of internal reports, briefings and other Sustainability presentations.
- Build Relationships: Develop relationships with cross-functional teams to support ESG strategy.
- Help organize continuous flow of information and internal and external communications.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- +5 years in public policy.
- Demonstrated strong writing skills and ability to communicate clearly and at multiple levels within the organization.
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings and discussions to develop issue positions and messages.
- Demonstrated organizational and project management skills and proven ability to track, analyze and summarize ESG trends and related legislation and regulations.
- Experience managing policy issues, including demonstrated ability to assess basic implications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in public policy or related fields.
