Position Overview:
As a Program Manager Sustainability, you will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing sustainability and energy conservation initiatives across Children’s Health System of Texas (CHST); promotes environmentally and economically sustainable practices related to the services provided by CHST.
As a warm, caring person you will require depth within a specialized, critical discipline and/or breadth of substantive professional knowledge that crosses disciplines within the professional field; interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services. You may lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and /or complexity solving complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions as you work independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
This is a full-time salaried position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may be required to occasionally work outside of this time.
Experience:
· At least 3 years’ experience managing sustainability or energy programs or equivalent
Education:
· 4-year Bachler’s degree
Licenses and Certifications are preferred:
· Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification
· Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
