Position Overview:

About ClimateAi

ClimateAi is on a mission to accelerate resilience in food, water, and energy. The company has launched the first of its kind Resilience-as-a-Service platform in agriculture to help supply chains adapt to climate change. The company was founded at Stanford University and is backed by top VC firms. We are a fast-growing Series-A company looking for passionate individuals who will create solutions for the most important issue of our time.

Culture

Everyone at ClimateAi is driven by a united passion to tackle climate change, and we don’t engage customers who negatively impact climate outcomes. We believe in a culture of truth and transparency, where feedback is considered an opportunity for us to contribute to each other’s personal and professional growth. We recognize the value of diversity, and we are an equal opportunity employer.

About the Role

We are a young startup, looking for a passionate candidate who can contribute to our mission to deploy impactful solutions to the most important issue of our generation. Our focus will be on developing climate resilience tools for various sectors, with agriculture as our initial market. We’re looking for a smart, passionate, team-oriented Customer Success Manager to develop our customer relationships and help build a foundation for our growth. This person’s primary focus will be on delighting our current customers: onboarding them to our technology platform, helping them use the tool to inform strategic decisions, and understand (and anticipate) their needs.

This individual will also serve as the Voice of the Customer in influencing our product design and product roadmap. Our future growth depends on scaling with our current customer relationships and through their supply chains – as a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for driving this growth. We hire people who are collaborative, adaptable, communicate well, and love to learn. Expect to give and receive constructive criticism, as we are constantly seeking to push the innovation frontier while simultaneously growing as individuals and as a team.

While we are interested in all qualified applicants, the position is well suited for someone with 3-5 years of work experience in customer success, sales, relationship management, and/or management consulting.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Direct ownership of key customer relationships / accounts
  • Accountability for renewal, expansion, and overall customer account health
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure delivery for the customer
  • Represent the “voice of customer” in product design and roadmap discussions, working with our engineering team to design new features
  • Help build the Customer Success function: define and drive processes that will enable us scale
  • Support business development efforts where relevant
  • Grow with us: future opportunities to take on more responsibilities as our company and needs grow

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience in customer / relationship management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of adapting styles to different audiences – from
  • CEOs to climate scientists
  • A good listener: able to hear and understand the customer need and the different perspectives of relevant stakeholders
  • Experience managing fast paced projects, adapting and re-prioritizing as circumstances change
  • Experience in technology / SaaS companies, management consulting, and/or start up environment
  • Experience in climate, supply chain, data science, or Food & Ag is a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Most importantly, a passion for working to help address the issue of climate change
