Position Overview

The ESG Manager will support a variety of cross functional projects as part of Diligent’s ESG Center of Excellence (CoE) including the refinement of short-term and long-term ESG goals, execution and tracking towards those goals using Diligent ESG and the development of a sustainability report that aligns with several standard reporting frameworks. The Manager will also support the ESG CoEs mission of helping our clients meet their ESG goals and advancing thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute ESG programs that align with global strategy and broader commitments
Identify key ESG metrics across multiple stakeholders and ingest supporting data into Diligent ESG
Continuously research and internally communicate emerging ESG trends
Provide overall ESG leadership across Diligent
Consistently promote ESG work internally and externally that supports Diligent’s leadership position
Maintain and improve policies and procedures
Work with RFP team to ensure Diligent’s ESG efforts are accurately depicted
Use key insights and data to write thought leadership articles
Required Experience/Skills:

5+ years of experience in ESG or Corporate Social Responsibility
Working knowledge of leading ESG frameworks
A passion for making a difference and advancing the understanding of the value of ESG topics
Strong organization skills and operational efficiency
Experience in quality assurance processes
Strong data management and analytical skills
Strong writing and verbal skills including the ability to organize, interpret, and summarize large amounts of information into concise and simple text
Ability to work independently, under pressure, make decisions and handle a high workload volume at a rapid pace
Team player and mentoring mentality
FLSA Status: Exempt
