Dun & Bradstreet is looking for an individual to help us continue to grow and expand our corporate ESG program and practices, and to engage stakeholders, inspiring positive change and progress. In this role, you will partner with other stakeholders across the company to implement a strategy, align and manage our corporate ESG program, report and communicate progress, and help to set goals to integrate the sustainability and ESG vision into Dun & Bradstreet’s strategy and planning. You will report to the Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Chief Sustainability & Communications Officer and collaborating with other internal groups to develop and execute an integrated and coordinated corporate ESG strategy, with objectives designed to drive business results, reduce risk and enhance Dun & Bradstreet’s reputation on environmental, social and governance issues.
- Measuring and monitoring progress against the strategy, objectives and performance targets. Serve as the global lead for internal partners for ESG reporting, ensuring alignment and consistency in data collection and reporting methods.
- Publishing an ESG dashboard for tracking and reporting progress against objectives. Prepare updates for use in quarterly stakeholder meetings on ESG trends, priorities and initiatives.
- Ensuring and tracking timely and accurate responses to other ESG-focused inquiries from investors, clients, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders in partnership with the business.
- Leading the annual ESG/CSR report project.
- Increasing ESG presence on Dun & Bradstreet’s internal and external communication channels, including embedding ESG stories and updates into global and regional communications.
- Managing the company’s corporate social responsibility program in partnership with other internal groups.
- Researching evolving ESG trends and legislation, including identifying and raising enterprise ESG risks to the Enterprise Risk team for assessment, disclosure and reporting.
- Stay informed regarding emerging sustainability issues and best practices and offering suggestions for their application at Dun & Bradstreet.
Requirements
- Passion for corporate responsibility and how business can be a force for good in the world with 2-3 years of ESG experience
- Strong project management and communications skills
- Resourceful and strategic project manager who can efficiently execute
- Ability to influence and align various stakeholders, sometimes with diverging opinions
- Intellectually curious, picking up concepts quickly, developing insights and applying to the work effectively
- Excellent quantitative, written and oral communication skills to bring stories to life
- Ability and desire to produce high-quality work product
- Bias for action; strong initiative and results-oriented
