We are seeking a Manager, Corporate Sustainability who will be a subject matter expert with a passion for corporate sustainability to help implement our sustainability strategy across the organization and integrate environmental, social, and governance considerations into all of our business operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key member of the FactSet cross-functional sustainability team, helping to integrate sustainability into our processes and culture.
  • Actively engage and collaborate across departments and functions to help develop, establish, implement, and support corporate sustainability initiatives, including establishing appropriate frameworks, standards, and goals and monitoring compliance.
  • Play a leading role in Company-wide sustainability reporting efforts, including interfacing with senior leadership and cross-functional business partners and assisting in developing a controls framework to support complete, accurate, and timely sustainability reporting.
  • Manage the sustainability reporting and disclosure function, including spearheading responses to various third-party requests (including CDP, EcoVadis, and others), ESG and sustainability ratings, rankings, surveys, and company-level responses to questions on sustainability topics.
  • Map our sustainability program and reporting to relevant standards (including GRI, SASB, TCFD, etc.).
  • Assist with drafting and updating Company-wide sustainability policies.
  • Lead the development and project management of our annual Sustainability Report.
  • Participate in internal and external communications of FactSet’s sustainability accomplishments, including overseeing the sustainability-focused web pages on the public website and responding to client and investor questionnaires.
  • Help develop methodologies and infrastructure to measure the progress and success of our sustainability initiatives; collect and track sustainability data.
  • Monitor ongoing and rapidly changing dynamics in the sustainability reporting space, with a specific focus on the regulatory environment, ESG reporting frameworks, and investor priorities.
  • Participate in measurement and reporting of greenhouse gas inventory (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and establishment and implementation of an effective emissions tracking system.
  • Help identify areas for opportunity for emissions reduction, leveraging and identifying new internal and external partnerships to enable and embed sustainability initiatives into our operations.
  • Assist in developing best practices for GHG management, climate risk analysis, a renewable energy strategy, and a decarbonization roadmap.
  • Work with our global supplier base to establish sustainable supplier policies and build a robust global reporting system.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in sustainability-related discipline a plus.
  • At least three years of relevant experience with similar sustainability programs in a corporate environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ESG initiatives, standards, and trends, especially as relevant to the technology industry; successful track record in managing sustainability programs and processes.
  • Sustainability reporting subject matter expertise; experience with ESG standards, protocols, and reporting frameworks (GRI, SASB, TCFD, SBTi, others).
  • Proven project management experience; ability to lead and collaborate with global teams and influence and engage others in the development, planning, and implementation of strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to synthesize abundant information and offer recommendations and solutions; exceptional business writing and presentation skills to communicate with various stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize, multi-task, and manage deadlines for multiple initiatives.
  • Highly motivated strategic thinker with creative mindset, attention to detail and nuance, quantitative and analytical skills, high level of integrity, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to perform in a manner consistent with the Company’s goals and culture.
