Job Summary
- This position will support various ESG initiatives.
- Partners with leaders to identify the need for business specific data analysis in order to provide insight and guide decision making.
- This is accomplished through building reports, analyzing data, and use of advanced statistical models.
Essential Job Functions
- Ensure ESG framework alignment with ESG maturity plans.
- Use data and metrics to guide the organization on ESG targets and goals.
- Assist with climate risk scenario analysis linking to financial impact.
- Produce annual NAIC Climate Risk Survey and assist other sustainability reports.
- Research emerging ESG frameworks.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to drive progress in the quality of our ESG survey responses.
- Support in-depth benchmarking work and research key and emerging ESG issues.
- Demonstrates best practices in project management, including proactive and appropriate communication with project stakeholders; management of scope, timeline, and actual vs. budgeted hours, and measurement and communication of project value.
- Engages in continuous process improvement. Identifies and recommends areas for improvement in internal or external business processes.
- Maps process steps and identifies their impact on key outcomes. Forms actionable change initiatives or project proposals.
- Identifies and involves stakeholders and other participants in change initiatives.
- Measures and communicates the value from process improvement efforts and critically analyzes team output and eliminate non-value-added work.
- Sets the standard in effective written and verbal communication with leadership including the ability to explain analysis results, statistics concepts, or statistical approaches, and impact on business performance.
- Develops employees on presentations to project sponsors or business leads.
- Effectively delivers presentations to executive audiences. Is accountable to business leaders for hours worked by the team.
- Ensures quality products are delivered to internal customers through analysis techniques and quantitative skills.
- This is accomplished through data and their application to business problems.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelors degree preferred. Possesses or currently pursuing insurance designation.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in data analytics, qualitative analysis, process improvement, and project management required. 3-5 years people leading experience required.
- Experience with predictive modeling, data extraction, relational database concepts and query tools preferred.
- Experience with Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance preferred.

- Farmers offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, qualifications and location
- CO Only: The pay range for this job being performed in CO would be $92,720 – $$123,600
- New York City, NY/Westchester County, NY Only: The pay range for this job being performed in NYC or Westchester County, NY would be $114,720 – $143,400
