Summary:

We are currently searching for a Program Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) as part of an effort to build a team of professionals who will support FuelCell Energy’s ESG strategy, engagement and reporting efforts.

Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work across a diverse ESG cross-functional team to support programs and priorities around ESG issues.
  • Coordinate internal sustainability initiatives including our employee and community engagement programs, as well as tracking and communicating impact and progress to goals.
  • Assist in development, maintenance, and execution of appropriate ESG policies.
  • Work with all aspects of ESG data collection, reporting and disclosure against ESG frameworks including SASB, GRI and others.
  • Assist in development, maintenance, and execution of regular cadence of ESG reporting, both internal and external, including production of an annual ESG Report, and other reporting products as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in ESG, CSR or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with key ESG standards and frameworks.
  • Experience with climate change reporting and emissions assurance.
  • Confidence operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding project management, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach with both business and legal groups, with strong ability to build relationships, gain credibility, and partner with others.
  • Enthusiastic about fuel cells and hydrogen technology.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

  • General work is in an office environment utilizing a computer and other office equipment.
  • Hybrid for Candidates Near Our Locations in Connecticut: 3 days in office/2 days WFH, No travel require
  • Remote: Travel to office 1-2 times every quarter

  • Recommend improved EH&S practices.
  • Must maintain regular and consistent attendance.
