We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Global Supply Chain (GSC) Business Transformation team as Sustainability Manager. You will serve as a key member of various project teams, managing a diverse network of stakeholders and influencing their decision-making. By partnering with sourcing, Environmental, Health & Safety and Corporate Social Responsibility and legal teams, you will play an integral role in the development and delivery of a high-quality sustainability strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Define key sustainability priorities, metrics and scorecards that the sourcing organization will drive towards and track performance against GF’s overall sustainability goals
  • Design frameworks and policies for the Supply Chain organization to embed sustainability into the day-to-day practices of the organization (e.g., responsible sourcing of conflict minerals, logistics & transportation policies to meet scope 3 emissions goals, etc.)
  • Engage with sourcing teams to collect and maintain sustainability data on suppliers (e.g., RBA compliance, human rights, sustainability practices, etc.)
  • Drive periodic reviews of supplier compliance with GF’s sustainability policy & goals alongside the supplier performance management (SPM) team.
  • Identify and implement new initiatives to enhance and drive continuous improvement of sustainability practices
  • Ensure supply chain sustainability initiatives support and augment GF’s overall sustainability goals

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, business management or related field
  • Experience – 8+ years professional experience in corporate, sustainability, or ESG role
  • Excellent writing, editing, oral communications, communications planning, issues and project management skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audience
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative business relationships
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding related to sustainability
  • Ability to perform in a very fast paced environment
  • Travel – Up to 10%
  • Fluency in English Language – written & verbal
  • Project management skills – i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate and lead through ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Related Professional Certifications

Expected Salary Range

$108,000.00 – $204,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
