Position Overview:
Job Description
The Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Manager works collaboratively across multiple business channels in fast paced, ever changing environment. The CSR/Sustainability Manager develops strategies & recommendations and implements approved projects for the company.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for the management of Oeko-Tex – internally and with vendor partners
- Responsible for the management of GOTS certification / other certifications as adopted (HIGG, BCI, etc.).
- Responsible for the management and GRS – internally and with vendor partners
- Manages end-to-end social compliance factory audits and Disney FAMA audit process
- Supports corporate CSR goal Recommends / validates corporate goals and projects.
- Works with internal team and vendor base to develop measurable sustainability goals for key partners.
- Implements approved social responsibility programs e., HER.
- Point of contact for circularity efforts
- Works with Marketing & Creative team to develop and maintain CSR on Hanna website
- Supports Fabric team in goals related to increasing and communicating sustainable attributes of product
- Develops and maintains vendor scorecard for sustainability
- Develops and publishes annual sustainability report
- Leads corporate sustainability team (Hanna Cares).
- Monitors global activities, impacts and literature related to CSR. Makes recommendations on courses of action to leadership.
- Facilitates workshops and trainings as needed to support corporate social responsibility goals
- Other duties that leadership and/or the Board of Directors require of this role

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- 4-5 years of experience of Corporate Social Responsibility experience, or related experience
- Retail background and Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) experience strongly preferred.
- Strong time management skills: ability to own all aspects of a project from concept to implementation
- Solution oriented, critical thinker with ability to balance multiple projects and priorities
- Flexible and adaptable to work with various teams
- Effective working independently as well as in a collaborative environment
- Highly detail oriented with exceptional follow through
- Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft tools – Excel, Word
