Hyve Solutions seeks an experienced leader to develop and implement comprehensive policies for Hyve Solutions globally in the areas of corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability. Duties will include formulating corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability policies, developing processes and (eventually) a team to implement such policies, responding to customer requirements and audits, managing external certifications such as Responsible Business Alliance membership, and working with marketing to showcase accomplishments in these areas.

Candidates should possess subject-matter expertise and an understanding of best practices in the areas of corporate social responsibility (required) and environmental sustainability (highly desired). Candidates should be able to work with multiple departments across Hyve to implement actionable, detailed plans to achieve Hyve, customer, and certification requirements. Ability to build and manage a team desired. Strong communication skills, attention-to-detail, and ability to think globally required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop requirements for corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability
• Incorporate customer, regulatory, or voluntary certification requirements into such plans
• Oversee membership/qualification/certification for organizations/standards we adopt (such as Responsible Business Alliance)
• Oversee preparation for external audits
• Perform internal audits against requirements
• Oversee supplier audits
• Respond to customer RFPs, questionnaires, and survey instruments concerning social responsibility and environmental sustainability
• Develop guidelines for supply chain monitoring of Hyve suppliers
• Respond to corrective action requests for Hyve
• Work with suppliers to resolve their issues
• Develop measurements of environmental sustainability and carbon footprint, and plans for minimalization
• Work with Marketing to develop customer-facing and public-facing material documenting successful efforts in these areas
• Work with diverse groups such as Hyve Executive Team, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Safety, Facilities, and Operations in furtherance of these objectives.
• Build team to support these functions
• Travel as needed to other Hyve sites in Mississippi, England, Taiwan, and China. Travel when needed to supplier sites, generally in Asia.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS
• Experience with corporate social responsibility (required) and environmental sustainability (desired)
• Background in electronics/manufacturing (preferred)
• Audit experience
