Position Overview:
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the Shared Services Manager of Real Estate and Facilities, this position requires a self-motivated individual with strong skills in data analysis, interpersonal communication and time management. Must make decisions in response to varied situations requiring immediate attention, while actively communicating with property owners, property managers, vendors, consultants, management and external auditors. An interest in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues is a plus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Large-scale data management of submissions, vendor invoices, contacts and calculations
- Daily communication with property management teams to collect building information
- Confirm accuracy of energy data submissions from property managers
- Assist with collecting and tracking utility bill data
- Perform analysis of energy, water, waste and greenhouse emissions
- Respond to ad hoc requests from management, auditors and ESG consultants
- Support ESG initiatives and large real estate portfolios in developing a plan to achieve company climate goals
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years related real estate experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate or Accounting/Business or equivalent work experience
- Must have ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with the ability to organize resources and balance competing priorities
- Proven ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively work on a team
- Proficient in MS Office products, SAP and Hyperion a plus
- Ability to exercise judgment with minimal direction
