The Johnson & Johnson Enterprise Sustainability team is recruiting for a Manager, Enterprise Sustainability Operations to support and drive the teams operational and business process needs. The position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ.

The Manager, Sustainability Operations role will be part of the Enterprise Sustainability (ES) team and will support and lead business processes such as long-range financial planning, budgeting, team goals and workplan development, dashboard development and tracking, etc. to advance our environmental and human rights strategies. This role will also assist in coordinating customer and stakeholder inquiries along with external benchmarking and horizon scanning. We are seeking an outstanding team member who has the program management expertise and environmental sustainability passion needed to advance our departmental aspirations. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with detailed knowledge of program management and business process management.
This role will manage all aspects of ES Performance Management, including the following:
- Develop the annual ES Goals and Objectives process and management and maintenance of the associated performance metrics and dashboard, with quarterly dashboard updates reporting on progress and execution of the workplan
- Create and monitor the Budget Plan (BP) and Long-Range Financial Plan, align resources and budget with the ES team, cross functional partners, and the finance team
- Track performance and spending against BP – quarterly and annually
- Coordinate and govern corporate level data and disclosures (e.g., EcoVadis survey)
- Manage the process and updates related to all internal and external positions and standards
- Lead the organization through performance improvement of processes, and facilitate technology and tool evaluations to enhance ES programs and disclosure
- Lead benchmarking and insights for enterprise sustainability
- Maintain an inventory of partnerships, segment metrics, etc.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following:
- An affinity for team collaboration and executive reporting
- Ability and experience embracing and managing through change
- Able to ruthlessly prioritize work but handle multiple work streams
- Good verbal, written and customer service-focused communication skills; can simplify complex topics and computations for executive decision makers.
Qualifications
Required:
- A Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Demonstrated experience implementing performance management models, systems and tools at an enterprise (& global) level
- Ability to balance many points of view while still advancing standardization and process improvement
- Knowledgeable of environmental sustainability
- Proven ability to work within a highly dynamic environment
- Strong background in project management, analytics, and metrics development
- High proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Dashboard Models
- This position will be located in New Brunswick, NJ and may require up to 10% domestic & international travel
Preferred
- Other advanced degree
- Experience with Excel Pivot Tables and Tableau
