What you’ll do:
The Environmental Manager will support Integrated Operations (HSE) to monitor and support Environmental Regulatory Compliance for the region. Partner with Regional Sustainability Lead in successfully reaching North America’s 2030 sustainability climate action (carbon, energy, water, & waste) goals. The role will be primarily be accountable for Kerry’s manufacturing footprint’s performance relative to environmental regulatory requirements and environmental objectives, ensuring that objectives are attained in a cost-effective manning consistent with food safety and people safety fundamentals.

  • Support and monitor Environmental Regulatory Compliance for the region
  • Support manufacturing facilities in obtaining and maintain the necessary environmental permits and plans related to waste, air, wastewater, stormwater, oil & hazardous materials; conduct internal compliance reviews
  • Manage and organize the use of consultants and legal representation regarding environmental initiatives
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with manufacturing teams to provide guidance, support, review and negotiation on federal, state & local environmental agencies communications and reports
  • Work closely with plant managers and facility site management teams to foster an environment of engagement and empowerment for the region’s sustainability goals
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 Certifications, as needed

Qualifications and skills
What you’ll Need to be Successful:

  • Bacholer’s Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or related field required
  • 7-10 years’ experience in Environmental and Sustainability required with 4 – 5 years’ experience supporting multi-site in a wide range of geographical areas
  • Prior experience with wastewater in a food manufacturing required
  • ISO 14001 Certification Required
