Position Overview:

Link Logistics Real Estate (“Link”) is a leading national owner of last-mile logistics real estate designed to meet the needs of the modern supply chain. The Company, established in 2019 by Blackstone, operates the largest portfolio of logistics real estate assets located exclusively in the U.S. and serves more than 6,600 customers. The Company owns, has interests in, or has under development logistics facilities across key distribution markets in the U.S. that will represent a total of 534 million square feet (more than 460 million square feet at pro rata share) when completed. Link has the scale, geographic footprint, and logistics expertise, as well as a heightened focus on sustainability to power the supply chain of tomorrow.

The ESG Manager will report to the Senior Director of ESG. Together with the ESG team, the manager will be responsible for overseeing our LEED development programs as well as building our health and wellness offering for our assets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture
  • The role will involve collaborating across all major business lines to implement portfolio sustainability programs and initiatives including LEED and WELL programs
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversee the implementation and execution of sustainable development and operations programs
  • Work with internal and external teams to gather and analyze data in support of ongoing project implementation
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Link to further develop our sustainable development and operations guidelines and processes
  • Engage in the development and implementation of portfolio wide sustainability policies and programs
  • Assist with communicating the value proposition to both internal and external stakeholders for key programs
  • Lead research assignments for new projects and technologies for use in the portfolio
  • Maintain expertise in evolving ESG trends including policy and regulatory developments, development technologies and real estate trends
  • Participate in cross-functional team efforts and tasks, including liaison with various management teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience (sustainability, real estate, engineering, consulting)
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the green building industry, including LEED and WELL certification processes, and key corporate sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks
  • LEED AP and WELL AP considered critical
  • LEED Volume experience a plus
  • Proven experience in project management with track record of managing complex programs
  • Understanding of carbon accounting and familiarity with embodied carbon
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working in complex and rapidly evolving environment
  • Strong work ethic and passion for sustainability
  • Ability to cross-collaborate with varied and multi-stakeholder relationships
  • Focused and attentive to detail
