Job Description:
Purpose: To coordinate initiatives that improve the sustainability of Meow Wolf’s facilities and business operations.
Location: Santa Fe, NM

To be based in Santa Fe, this vigorous role will be responsible for assisting with the execution, tracking, coordination and program management of initiatives that reduce carbon emissions and waste to improve the sustainability of our facilities and business operations.
Reporting to the Vice President of Impact & Inclusion, the candidate will collaborate with stakeholders throughout Meow Wolf, such as facilities, operations, exhibitions and marketing, and will drive projects to integrate carbon, water and waste reduction.
Requirements
You’ll coordinate and execute various sustainability initiatives, thereby contributing to Meow Wolf’s commitment to reduce carbon emissions and waste.
How you will do it…
- Participate in company wide development and implementation of plans to meet environmental sustainability goals.
- Responsible for sustainability data collection, tracking and reporting KPIs.
- Develop ongoing sustainability goals and policies in alignment with B Corp Certification.
- Design and implement solutions to track and reduce energy, water and waste.
- Review, research and Implement best practices for sustainability.
- Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare briefing materials and presentations on sustainability program metrics and initiatives.
- Coordinate sustainability projects and initiatives with multiple stakeholders across the company, including facilities, operations, and marketing.
- Develop internal and external sustainability communications.
- Prepare briefing materials and presentations on sustainability metrics and initiatives.
- Continuously seek out opportunities that help build enthusiasm and participation for sustainability program efforts.
To be successful in this role…
- You bring excellent working knowledge of sustainability concepts.
- You come with knowledge of LEED certification and green building standards.
- You possess the ability to manage multiple projects at once by demonstrating effective resource and project planning, decision making and results delivery.
- You come experience coordinating or executing projects.
- You are skilled at data collection and analysis.
- You come with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- You are proficient in Google sheets and Google Suite.
- You bring light design skills, particularly for creating presentations.
- You ideally come with knowledge of general construction.
Work environment and physical demands…
- This position is based in Santa Fe, NM.
- This is a full-time position averaging 40 hours a week – occasionally requiring flexibility to work during evenings or weekends based on business needs and potential travel to our LLC locations.
