Job Responsibilities:
As Micron’s Sustainability Program Manager, you will be a key member of the company’s Sustainability team, contributing to dynamic corporate strategy and leading implementation of initiatives to strengthen the company’s environmental, social, and governance efforts at the direction of the Director of Sustainability. Areas of focus will include employee engagement, transparency and reporting, corporate strategy, and initiatives in areas such as climate change, responsible sourcing, circular economy, sustainable technology, and human rights. The role is likely to include:
- Working with business leaders to develop and drive sustainability goals
- Preparing reports, communications, and training on Micron’s sustainability performance, support internal and external inquiries concerning sustainability issues, and support annual public sustainability reporting
- Partnering with Global Communications and Marketing team to define and execute Micron’s sustainability-related internal and external engagement and communications strategy
- Leading discrete projects to strengthen Micron’s sustainability strategy and improve environmental and social impacts
- Monitoring key performance indicators across Micron’s global network
- Researching, offering recommendations, and taking action to address emerging sustainability issues, standards, and best practices
Desired Qualifications and skills:
- Demonstrated strong project/program management skills and experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, preferably in the context of sustainability
- Demonstrated skill and experience with strategic stakeholder engagement and communication
- Strong writing, presentation, and influence skills
- Ability to work independently as needed
- Familiarity with the semiconductor industry, sustainability reporting, climate change and environmental management, circular economy, human rights, and/or sustainability-related standards and frameworks a plus
- Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree; applicable graduate degree a plus
