Position Overview:

You will develop and manage global, regional or market level programs using your subject matter expertise to support of our Impact pillars of Sustainability, Mindful Snacking, and Social Impact. In this role, you will direct others (internally and externally) on the implementation of programs to grow our business.

How you will contribute

As you implement the programs, you will oversee cross-functional project teams, agencies and NGO partners, manage program budgets, create and maintain reports on program results. You will work locally with business colleagues and external partners to implement plans under each respective pillar.

Main Responsobilities

1. Lead internally the definition, reporting and communication of global environmental sustainability KPIs for manufacturing (mthly, qly, annually)

2. Co-lead external reporting requirements of global environmental sustainability performance for MSC (Dow Jones Sustainability Index, CDP Climate & CDP 3. Water submissions for investors, Mdlz supported Consumer Goods Forum Resolutions on Refrigerants & Food Waste)

4. Co-lead global external sustainability audit program(s) for manufacturing (e.g. AIM-Progress for ethical production, external environmental systems and reporting)

5. Lead agreed global environmental track(s) of work to meet company sustainability goal(s) for manufacturing: e.g water, food waste, carbon net zero (scopes 1 & 2)

6. Manage global Water CAPEX program implementation (jointly with Reg Engg & external partner)

7. Coordinate Global RE (Renewable Electricity) agenda

8. Support E2E environmental programs and agenda in partnership with Impact team (Net Zero Carbon (focused on scope 1 & 2), E2E Water ambitions, R&D, etc.)

9. Transfer capabilities and support implementation and execution at Regional and BU levels (including global environmental standards)

  • Excellent program and project management skills

  • Clear, effective communication skills in a variety of settings and styles

Education / Certifications:

Bachelor’s Degree minimum in Engineering, Environmental Science or equivalent

Job specific requirements:

-Leading global virtual team(s) of peers from different Regions/functions (>2 yrs)

-Experience in developing corporate environmental standards and environmental reporting (> 7yrs)

-Experience in developing & implementing key tools to measure & improve environmental footprint (> 5yrs)

-Demonstrated knowledge of key current external reporting systems/standards : Enablon, SMETA, DJSI, CDP, ISO 14000

Travel requirements:

Up to 10%

Within Country Relocation support available and for candidates voluntarily moving internationally some minimal support is offered through our Volunteer International Transfer Policy
