Position Overview:
Responsibilities
In May of 2021, Comcast, the parent company of NBC Universal, announced a commitment to be carbon neutral by 2035 in Scope 1 and Scope 2 carbon emissions across its entire global operations. Following this announcement, Comcast, NBCUniversal and Sky have developed sustainability strategies and are building dedicated organizations to deliver on this long-term commitment. More specifically, we have focused our current sustainability goals on sourcing of renewable and clean energy, improving energy efficiency and science-based measuring and reporting of our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.

- Draw insights from and inform and support sustainability-specific decision making across the business, acting as an advocate for carbon emissions reduction improvement through data transparency
- Track additional sustainability KPIs, such as LEED buildings, renewable energy use, and adoption rates of other initiatives
- Using accurate and actionable data analysis to uncover opportunities for improvement and acceleration, working closely with the team’s Sustainable Strategy Director to develop NBCU’s Sustainability Long Range Plan (LRP) and ongoing plans for business unit engagement and transformation
