Position Overview:
The global Nike Services team seeks an aspiring Retail and Sustainability leader to join us in building and scaling a portfolio of Sustainability Services across the retail marketplace.
The Sustainability & Recommerce Services, Senior Manager will lead the development and implementation of consumer-facing retail services that enable all Nike consumers to repair, resell, swap, donate or recycle the gear they no longer need!
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to significantly contribute to Nike’s Move to Zero ambition by scaling services that keep Nike products in use longer and out of landfills, and, by testing new models of Recommerce for Nike. We need a self-starter who will facilitate the rollout of these industry leading services across all Nike store concepts and geographies, with a focus on Nike’s Takeback, Repair and Recommerce services.
You will directly lead and oversee the cross-functional implementation of Sustainability Services across all Nike retail channels, crafting the service strategy, business case, O2O consumer journey and a clear roadmap to scale for each service in collaboration with key stakeholders!
Additionally, you’ll be responsible for ensuring all partners and Nike Direct leadership are aligned to the rollout strategy that you manage, starting with Nike Takeback. You will drive both short and long-term service roadmaps in partnership with geo and concept teams, with clear metrics and outcomes tied to both Nike’s post-consumer waste strategy and Nike’s global retail growth strategy.
What you will work on
In this role, you will:
- Build and manage key services within the Sustainability Services portfolio, including the business case, P&L, value proposition, consumer insights, consumer journeys, O2O retail experience and implementation plans.
- Partner across Nike Retail teams to launch, pilot and scale Sustainability Services, including Nike Takeback, Repair and (Re)commerce services
- Work closely with Nike Services leadership team to develop clear service rollout plans, starting with Nike Takeback
- Build and lead cross-functional working teams needed to enable Sustainability Services to scale across the One Nike Marketplace
- Lead multiple Sustainability Services at varying stages of maturity and impact
- Develop and clearly communicate project plans, service metrics and results with Nike Retail leadership teams
- Project manage the accountabilities, dependencies, budget and other resource requirements and progress updates
- Assess the impact of the current portfolio through the lens of the consumer, the environment, and our retail business

You have:

- 5-7 years cross-functional experience in retail, services, sustainability or consumer products
- Sophisticated PM skills and experience making decisions (and recommendations) in a fast-paced environment
- Extensive expertise in program, project and portfolio management
- A consistent track record of delivering measurable results through teamwork
- Experience leading consumer-facing sustainability projects
- A bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
