Job Responsibilities
- Assists with handling all environmental aspects and impacts including air, water, waste, recycling, and reuse.
- Conduct regular walk through inspections of construction projects, service projects and service calls.
- Identify, document and recommend resolution of hazardous or potentially hazardous conditions; follow through to ensure corrections have been made.
- Audits and investigates spills, leaks, or other potential negative environmental impacts.
- Compile data, photographs, etc.; prepare all pertinent forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, local regulations associated with environmental incidents.
- Conduct various environmental related data gathering, analysis, inspections, and interviews.
- Supports project team and contractor environmental related training as required.
- Supports generation of environmental reporting and permitting as required by federal, state, or local agencies or PLS / Danaher.
- Assists EHS project coordinator with federal, state and insurance inspectors on job walks or tours.
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 years experience (including internships) working on large, complex construction projects.
- Associates or bachelor degree in EHS, environmental management, waste management, occupational health and safety, environmental sustainability, or related engineering field.
