Position Overview:
Responsibilities
The Manager, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability delivers Papa John’s corporate responsibility initiatives to demonstrate commitment to the company’s purpose and values to key stakeholders, our customers, and our communities. He/she will execute the PJI integrated and coordinated corporate responsibility strategy that drives business outcomes, enhances reputation, and supports the organization’s culture, purpose, and values. He/she will partner across the organization to create and drive awareness and visibility of our corporate responsibility initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups. He/she will manage corporate responsibility awareness goals against set KPIs.
- Support Papa John’s philanthropic mission and visions, including the Papa John’s Foundation
- Support the execution of the foundation’s annual fundraising initiative, oversee grant-making strategy
- Serve as an ESG subject matter expert for the company and stay current on emerging trends, including expectations for transparency and reporting
- Provide recommendations to improve ESG scores with ISS, SASB, GRI and other reporting standards, as appropriate
- Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders across the company (e.g., HR, DEI, Supply Chain, Marketing) to champion and influence projects related to corporate ESG activities.
- Manage relationships with the company’s and the Papa John’s foundation’s philanthropic partners; develop programs with these partners that generate impact and deliver on goals
- Manage communications plan to drive awareness of the company’s corporate responsibility initiatives, including supporting the development of the Corporate Responsibility report
- Measure KPI performance across a variety of initiatives; provide ongoing reporting
Qualifications

- 5+ years prior experience in a corporate environment managing CSR/sustainability initiatives or relevant agency or non-profit experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing,
- Well-versed on the CSR/sustainability landscape, trends, and influencers
- Passionate about making a meaningful impact through executing programs as well as engaging with stakeholders to inform and excite
