Position Overview:
Job Description
PepsiCo Data & Analytics provides end-to-end products that focus on having the right data and insights at the right time and accessible for the right people and processes across the globe. We view these assets as a unique competitive advantage to delight our consumers and create a catalyst for a PepsiCo data-driven culture. The Business Engagement team will create the next generation of business value as the connection between global leaders and the PepsiCo Data & Analytics organization. We will achieve this by driving desired business outcomes across the value chain with consistent processes to track, measure, and optimize the value of our Data & Analytics portfolio.
The global impacts of climate change, soil erosion, water scarcity, and population growth bring challenges that threaten the planet’s ability to meet our needs. The food system is in urgent need of transformation. We believe that there is an opportunity to change how the world produces, distributes, consumes, and disposes of foods and beverages in order to tackle the shared challenges we face. We aim to use our scale, reach, and expertise to help build a more sustainable food system; one that can meet human needs for nutrition and enjoyment, and continue to drive economic and social development, without exceeding the natural boundaries of the planet.
Sustainability is a new pillar within Business Engagement and a critical enabler of PepsiCo’s global focus to determine where our food system may be operating in an unsustainable way and incurring financial risks. By contrast, addressing these risks within our value chain and the broader food system effectively can create new opportunities for competitive advantage and future market growth, while also supporting the communities in which we operate. This role will serve our global R&D and Sustainability partners with right-sized data and analytics solutions based on their state of maturity. They will discover new value drivers and shared opportunities across sectors and markets in conjunction with other business and Data & Analytics leaders across the value chain. Sustainability focused Business Engagement will help our PepsiCo partners uncover the best opportunities to lift, adapt, and scale solutions to solve unique business challenges and optimize overall PepsiCo operations.
