We are looking for an experienced, hands-on leader to manage Environmental impact and Sustainability Programs. As part of the Workplace team at Pinterest, the Sustainability Manager will foster a thriving culture where environmental impact and reduction of our carbon footprint are integrated into every facet of the company while supporting a fast-paced and innovative business environment.

In this position, you will collaborate with teams across Workplace, HR, Legal, Public Policy, Communications, Product, I&D, Finance to build a world-class workplace sustainability program in line with our company’s overall commitment to creating a sustainable company with a reduced carbon footprint.

What you’ll do:

• Direct the vision and strategy for the Sustainability program and collaborate cross-region, cross-team and cross-functionally to execute on these strategic plans
• Develop and implement required Sustainability programs in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations and prepare information for CSR.
• Develop sustainability metrics and processes to track and drive progress
• Support and guide business leaders and related functional groups on the best way to roll out initiatives, based on the Workplace planning.
• Prepare comprehensive reporting to track and support our carbon footprint progress for all offices.
• Manage the global sustainability budget and associated contracts for related services including working with measurabl.
• Engage with Pinterest executives and senior leaders to foster participation

What we’re looking for:

• 4+ years of experience in leading corporate sustainability at a tech/biotech or environmental fast-paced company.
• Experience in data management and reporting environmental, sustainability, carbon trends while negating impact
• Ability to negotiate and creatively problem solve for mutually successful outcomes with business leaders
• Project management experience with a results-driven mindset
• Motivation to continue learning environmental and sustainability industry trends
• Strong computer literacy skills including Google suite
• Impeccable communication skills, computer skills and analytical thinking to provide clear recommendations and solutions
• Ability to be agile, flexible, and adaptable to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and cross functional team environment
• Certifications from professional safety associations (LEED,AP) is a plus
