Position Overview:

Rivel is currently seeking a talented, motivated sustainability & corporate governance analyst. The operational associate will be involved in all aspects of the firm’s governance and ESG work for Fortune 500 and Russell 3000 firms. This is a broad-based, fast-paced role and will allow the analyst to experience all facets of our ESG & governance practice. Dedicated associates have an excellent opportunity for advancement.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist consultants in advising clients on ESG and governance initiatives, disclosures, and engagement.
  • Create client presentations and reports.
  • Research and analyze governance and ESG materials, disclosures and policies.
  • Finalize client deliverables (presentations, reports, research papers).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Research experience and/or Finance coursework a plus).
  • Alignment with Rivel’s core values.
  • Minimum 1-2 years in corporate governance and/or sustainability/ESG or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient and experienced in ESG reporting standards & frameworks, such as: SASB, TCFD, UNSDGs, GRI, etc.
  • Corporate issuer or investment research experience a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Analytical and team player, quick learner with very strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Have a passion for sustainability and governance.
