Role Summary
Support the Rivian Sustainability effort by building and tracking digital tools and analytics that help drive Operational Efficiency and encourage data driven decisions. Work with department and cross-functional leadership to build reporting and help scale globally by building the next generation of tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Balance running the tools, with creating self-service tools for leadership. This is a leading/doing role.
  • Build out tools and data portfolio to support Sustainability in making People, Process, and Infrastructure decisions across several verticals that they will cover.
  • Identify trends in the data and work with Sustainability Leadership to influence metrics and goals that better drive performance across verticals.
  • Generate reports, models, and sensitivity analyses to be used to recommend go/nogo efforts.
  • Work with operational partners to rollout KPI’s and continually improve published content and share knowledge on best practices.
  • Create user-guides and partner with relevant organization to distribute and train.
  • Participate in the development of internal processes to drive execution efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Technical (Engineering, Math, Science) or Business. Advanced degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated prior work experience relevant to this position
  • Deep knowledge of data mining and storage, statistics, and visualization for business environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity by quantifying problem statements with KPI’s.
  • Innate curiosity and drive to connect the dots through data and trends, and confidence to share both good and bad news objectively.
  • Asks Why. Curious.
  • Incredible interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others that do not report to you.
  • Great communication skills with a wide variety of personnel from various professional backgrounds.
  • Familiarity and comfort level with operations environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, Atlassian Software and Tableau
  • Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter and constructive team-player.
