Position Overview:
Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Customer Success Manager (CSM) to help take our customer retention, engagement, and expansion growth to the next level. We are seeking a professional with experience in building high impact client relationships and passionate about customer centricity. As a Senior CSM, your number one focus will be to accelerate sustainable outcomes and drive solutions and services adoption across a strategic client base. You will be tasked with identifying revenue expansion opportunities and increasing retention and time-to-value for our customers.
This candidate will be an experienced sales professional with expertise in building client relationships, servicing and selling to customers with the ability to sell what we have today as well as foster new ideas and opportunities for collaboration. You will ensure we maintain best-in-class customer feedback/sentiment collection, analysis, and action planning to drive tactical and strategic sustainable outcomes for our customers.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for meeting revenue growth objectives, maintaining accurate funnel and forecasting.
- Foster Customer Engagements on sustainability and digital transformation discussions and opportunities throughout sales cycle (pre-sales to post-sales support).
- Collect Voice of Customer data through means such as analyzing business results, sustainability reports, design thinking workshops, conversations with clients, etc.
- Identify ways to connect customer feedback and tie it back to key business metrics.
- Engage the sales team and consult/support strategic pursuits to enable the customers’ sustainability-focused outcomes.
- Responsible for understanding customer data and insights to recommend changes or additions to scope that can improve the outcomes a customer can obtain.

- Ability to work in complex environments; and managing different customer work styles.
- Ability to balance Customer Expectations with Profitability requirements.
Key Performance Metrics
- Revenue growth of new and expanded sustainability offerings tied to Rockwell core solutions and emerging services
- Voice of Customer engagements
- Organization of customer engagements and ability to build out associated customer trends
- Drive cross collaboration across business units, delivery arms, and partner network
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Typically requires 10+ years of sales experience in industrial control, information solutions and services to enable Digital Transformation
- Passionately committed to sustainability
- Demonstrated track record of successful revenue contribution and sales experience through indirect and direct channels of enterprise information technology including software (SaaS), hardware, and services.
- Experience with Dynamics CRM
- Excellent time management skills
- Multi-lingual preferred
- Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate with corporate internal leadership and customer executives
- Attention to detail
- Previous Voice of Customer (VoC) experience
- Entrepreneurial drive and a “make it happen” attitude
- Good understanding of technical, business operations and legal implications required
- Understanding of Rockwell Automation portfolio and extended network
- Strong knowledge and ability to perform key steps in complex selling and business development cycle. In depth understanding of markets and channels globally
- Capability to work dynamically and collaboratively across multiple teams and projects in a technical business environment
- Ability to leverage social media in context with professional role
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience retaining and expanding revenue with existing customers, preferably in a SaaS environment
- Strong understanding of the platform/product features and functionality and how it relates to client objectives and business operations – use knowledge to lead product conversations and training
- Ability to augment/ customize the Customer Lifecycle with value-add programs and processes tailored to customer needs
- Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills
- Impressive executive presence and ability to solve problems and enact change
- Organized, analytical and able to eliminate sales obstacles quickly and creatively
- Solid time management skills
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, such as sales and professional services
