Position Overview:

Are you ready to drive our sustainability mission?

You will make a global impact by standing up our sustainability strategies to increase our sustainability progress, drive improvements, and report metrics and measures of performance standards.

• Your passion for ESG stewardship will help manage environmental risks; conserve and manage resources; reduce waste; reduce emissions; promote sustainable agricultural practices; and transition to green energy alternatives.
• You will develop this function from the ground up, leading the implementation, execution, and auditing of the Company’s sustainability efforts.
• By being an expert in sustainability, you will drive data collection, create a reporting structure, develop evaluation and monitoring systems for the set metrics to report to SASB and TCFD industry standards.
• Your ability to partner with senior management will allow you to set goals, monitor effectiveness of our programs and identify areas of opportunity to increase sustainable practices across the Company’s strategy and operations.
• Your business acumen and ability to relay sustainability information will play a key role in delivering presentations to company leaders and investors, as well as producing the company’s annual corporate responsibility report. Check out our 2018 corporate responsibility report here.

***You will typically need a hard science or engineering background and comprehensive knowledge of the corporate sustainability function, ideally in public company. Secondly, an entrepreneurial mindset is needed to take the function to the next level, take action and lead change. Also your planning and decisiveness make it achievable to execute and deliver results.

***This position is office-based in Milwaukee, WI with travel to Sensient operations worldwide as need requires (10-20%).
