The role : Supplier Diversity & Sustainability Program Manager

As a key member of the Procurement Team, the Program Manager will be the primary point of contact at Slalom responsible for overseeing operation and strategic direction for the Supplier Diversity & Sustainability program.

What You’ll Do:

Build out sustainable and supplier diversity Procurement policy & process
Support ID&E team initiatives and associated spend
Support RFP team and Sales efforts with clients
Identify, research, assess capabilities of diverse vendors to enhance supply base across a set of spend categories
Develop diverse suppliers in collaboration with business for future opportunities and requirements
Cultivate and maintain relationships with diverse supplier organizations
Analyze and report on program and metrics
Manage and track diversity spend in alignment with Supplier Diversity Program teams
Manage various supplier diversity & sustainability initiatives for a set of categories
Manage communications for internal stakeholders on supplier diversity & sustainability
Makes key decisions and/or recommendations concerning sourcing strategy, negotiation strategy, contract awards, and supplier management
Source and negotiate contracts for the ID&E category
What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Extensive procurement experience leading spend category initiatives, including sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and managing “procure to pay” processes
Experience developing processes and delivering solutions for supplier diversity and/or sustainability programs
Comfortable in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment
Demonstrated expertise in communicating, presenting to, and influencing decision making with peers, business leaders and industry colleagues
