As a senior project manager on the Global Store Development Sustainability team, you will manage complex cross-functional projects that support organizational sustainability strategies.
As a senior project manager, you will:
- Act as product manager for the Waste & Recycle App – You will be responsible for managing sustainment, strategy, and enhancement projects for the Waste & Recycle App. You will lead cross-functional projects to gather user feedback, facilitate testing, develop product roadmaps, and support technology projects to release new features.
- Support store-level waste diversion strategy – You will be responsible for driving changes to the partner and customer experience by leading cross-functional projects supporting waste diversion in all areas of the store.
- Drive sustainability innovation – You will partner with global sustainability team and cross functional partners to support innovation in circularity and technology.
- Manage projects in accordance with available Starbucks established project and program management methodologies. Remain current and share expert-level knowledge on project management standards and methodologies.
- Influence & mentor others – Support development for other project management and sustainability partners.
We’d love to hear from people with:
- 3+ years of application of Starbucks Operations experience preferred
- 5 years of project management experience, including all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, human resources, and communications
- 5 years of experience managing complex large-scale or multiple mid-sized projects
- 2 years of experience mentoring other project managers in program and project management
- 5 years of general business experience in large, matrixed organizations
- 5 years of experience building and mentoring teams
- Experience with data management and budgeting preferred
- 4-year degree preferred
