  • Improving Trivium Packaging competitiveness with regards to environmental sustainability reporting
  • Taking care for Trivium Packaging environmental management processes and systems
  • Optimize enterprise Product Compliance processes.
  • Improve customer satisfaction by developing global web-based product compliance and sustainability systems, reducing internal workload and improving customer response time.
  • Providing an effective sustainability link between the company’s locations and other staff functions (HR, procurement, commercial, marketing, legal counsel, finance)

Lead Trivium Packaging’s environmental reporting programs and drive positive results

Drive forward ongoing improvement –by among others identifying and communicating sustainability reporting and ranking opportunities and lead improvement

Positioning Trivium Packaging as the leading responsible company in sustainability reporting (e.g. through alignment with customer expectations and reporting developments)

Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership

Work together with all 57 plants and the global commercial teams to collect the required data for the submissions of the reporting tools.

Implement web-based product compliance and sustainability data management tool

Define the roadmap for global implementation plan. Manage project budget. Present options to the wider team and run the implementation after alignment.  Develop content for the tool and work with 3rd parties to roll out.

IT tool project manager role. Work with procurement, R&D and business partners to create an interface that is user friendly and meeting the product stewardship requirements for now and in the future.

Manages / coordinate sustainability & product compliance integration projects throughout the global organization

You will work both independently as well as part of a team on specific strategic projects – this can include managing a whole project work stream independently

Control, monitor and develop cross functional sustainability targets and year plans with department

Coordinate and monitor product stewardship developments, among others global REACH and food compliance to  identify and implement improvements

Motivate sustainability champions in different function engaging in sustainability development.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in an sustainability analytical role (e.g., customer intelligence, consultancy or other relevant employment)
  • At least 5 years’ experience in product compliance (REACH food compliance etc)
  • Experience and/or exposure with ratings/ranking agencies and associated players
  • Excellent ability to run advanced search techniques
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills; capable of driving insight to action;
  • Experience with one or more advanced sustainability reporting tools for example: CDP, Ecovadis, Sedex, tools linked to GHG protocol etc
  • Fluent in English; ability to speak another language (e.g., Dutch, German, French, Spanish) is an advantage
  • A master’s degree in business, science or engineering with an excellent academic track record
