THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE:
Ulta Beauty is looking for a ESG Manager to work cross the Enterprise to develop, implement and track Ulta’s ESG goals. Environment, Social and Governance (“ESG”) is an important part of our overall business strategy centered around four key Pillars: People, Product, Community and Environment. We have built a strong foundation for our ESG work and we are hiring for an ESG Program Manager who will report to VP, Assistant General Counsel responsible for ESG and Real Estate.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work cross-functionally with different business functions, including Supply Chain, Merchandising, Growth and Development and other departments, to develop, implement and track Ulta Beauty’s ESG goals
- Maintain effective communication with and between pillar leads and others supporting ESG initiatives
- Work collaboratively with internal team members and third-party consultants to collect, review, analyze and report on data from various sources
- Effectively evaluate data against both quantitative and qualitative goals
- Develop efficient tools to collect, verify, report on and store data
- Lead the development and implementation of sustainability best practices
- Support the annual publication of the Ulta Beauty ESG report
- Support the ESG lead in collecting information to respond to investor requests and ESG industry surveys
- Support other ESG related projects as needed
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS:
Qualified candidates will posess a Bachelors degree required, preferably in environmental science, engineering, sustainability or related field
- Minimum 3 – 5 years of ESG-related work experience, with considerable experience in environmental
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that support working collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Demonstrated project management skills, including tracking of initiatives and related deadlines, responsibilities and costs
- Strong research and analytical skills, and ability to manage and communicate on data
