Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Strategic planning: Develop everything from big picture strategies to actionable project plans to support organizational and agency objectives.
  • Analysis: Apply rigorous attention to research, data, and metrics to provide outstanding counsel, monitor progress, “connect the dots,” and develop meaningful outcomes for clients.

Operationalizing 

  • Project management: Manage complex strategy and communications workstreams at the intersection of purpose, ESG, comms, marketing, organizational development, and philanthropy, with flawless attention to detail and deadlines.

Client Engagement

  • Client service: Exceptional day-to-day leadership of clients from B2B and B2C industries; maintain a strong working relationship with them.
  • Actively listens for business opportunities while in service to the client

Communications

  • Program development: advance reputation, employee and customer/consumer relationships, social and environmental issue impact, measurement, key messaging, strategic communication.
  • Content: producing original copy for clients using exceptional writing skills for strategy documents, executive communications, memos and direct engagement with clients
  • Design: developing decks for senior executives and clients

Requirements

  • You have 10+ years’ experience in social responsibility, sustainability, employee and community engagement, communications, marketing or other adjacent experience in either an in-house or agency environment. Healthcare industry experience is a plus
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college/university
  • Track record of working effectively with senior executives
  • Very strong writer
  • Serious research skills to develop insights to guide the development of client initiatives
  • Deadline oriented
  • Ability to communicate visually, especially in PowerPoint/Google Slides

Salary:

  • Base salary budgeted at $175,000/year with bonus potential.
